A self-contained steam shrink machine for sleeve labeling lines. The 24 kW electric steam generator, shrink chamber and conveyor are built into one unit — connect power and water, and the machine produces its own steam.

Steam Shrink Technology for Sleeve Label Applications
Steam is widely used for shrink sleeve applications because it transfers heat evenly across curved container surfaces. Unlike convection or radiant heat, steam naturally conforms to the product geometry, allowing consistent sleeve contraction and improved label appearance.

Integrated Steam System
The built-in steam generator is rated 24 kW — a 6 kW preheating tank followed by 18 kW of main steam power — and produces steam within 5–8 minutes of switch-on, with a water consumption of 32 L/hour at a 0.4 MPa supply pressure.
Staged Heating
Preheating tank 6 kW + main steam 18 kW, with 50 W standby consumption.
Unattended Operation
Automatic water refill, low-water protection and overpressure protection as standard.
Engineering Design Explained
The T2020 machine configuration is based on four engineering design features, described below.
Integrated Stainless Steel Chain Conveyor
A 200 mm stainless steel chain conveyor runs the full length of the machine, driven by a 60 W motor with stepless speed control from 0 to 12 m/min.
- Design: Stainless steel chain belt, 200 mm wide; conveyor height customizable.
- Benefit: Standalone operation without a host machine; speed matched to the required shrink time; maximum load 1 kg per product.
Ten-Nozzle Steam Distribution
Ten steam nozzles form a single shrink zone with 360° coverage around the container path. Nozzle angles are adjustable, so steam can be directed to the areas of the container that contract most.
- Adjustment: Nozzle angle adjustable; one controllable shrink zone.
- Benefit: Even sleeve contraction around the full circumference of the container.
Operational Protection & Continuous Duty
Steam generation, water supply and safety interlocks are handled inside the machine. The electrical system is deliberately simple — no PLC and no touchscreen — which keeps service requirements low
Automatic Water Refill
Water is replenished automatically during operation — no manual filling between shifts.
Low-Water Protection
The heating system is protected against operation with insufficient water in the generator.
Overpressure Protection
Steam pressure is monitored and protected, with a working pressure of 0.1 MPa.
24-Hour Continuous Running
Rated for continuous operation of up to 24 hours, with a 50W standby consumption when not heating.

No. T2020 has a built-in 24 kW electric steam generator (6 kW preheating tank + 18 kW main steam), so no external boiler, steam piping or separate steam source is needed. A power supply and a water line at 0.4 MPa are sufficient.
How long does it take to produce steam after switch-on?
The preheating time from power-on to steam output is 5–8 minutes. Steam is generated at 100 °C with a working pressure of 0.1 MPa.
