Steam Shrink Technology for Sleeve Label Applications

Steam is a widely used heating medium for shrink sleeve applications because it transfers heat evenly across the curved surface of the container. Unlike convection or radiant heat, steam conforms to the product geometry, allowing consistent contraction of the sleeve material.

Because steam shrinking is sensitive to steam quality, sleeve material and production scale, machine selection should follow the actual application — not a generic specification. Uniform Steam Exposure

The steam distribution system directs steam around the product path so the sleeve is exposed evenly during shrinking.
